Acknowledgements
Every Kestr style is our own work, built in code. Like any studio, we learn from many references: film, print, illustration, animation and other people's open work. These are the ones this site uses directly, and the terms we use them under.
Style references
Our styles draw on many references. One of them is Lemo-Opuscar, an open-source library of film styles by LemoLab. It is one source among several, not our only one, and we keep studying more references to make every style as good as it can be.
Some style references on this site are shown with short excerpts of LemoLab's demo films. Lemo-Opuscar's code is released under the MIT licence, and its demo films and stills under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). We cut each excerpt to five seconds, removed the sound, resized it and placed it over a blurred copy of itself; nothing else was changed.

Footage and images
Every demo loop on this site was made by Kestr, except the style-reference excerpts described above. The phone in our hero is our own render.
The product video in the formats section uses photoreal footage and stills generated for Hollin Hive, a fictional demo brand from our own Adspax project; it says so on screen.
The podcast example is a short excerpt of The Diary Of A CEO, E165, “The Marketing Secrets Apple & Tesla Always Use: Rory Sutherland” (2022), edited by us to show our work. We are not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by The Diary Of A CEO; the footage belongs to its owners. youtube.com/watch?v=Hz3RWxJck68
The edited podcast tier also uses stock video, music and sound effects from Mixkit, under the Mixkit Stock Video, Stock Music and Sound Effects Free Licenses, and the Outfit typeface (SIL OFL) in its captions. mixkit.co/license
The Transit Map demo's satellite imagery contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data (2021), credited on screen.
